2019 art contest to end soon

Mississippi students are invited to get outdoors and participate in the 2019 North Mississippi Fish Hatchery Youth Art Contest. Each student must submit a portfolio including entry form and artwork to the Visitor Education Center (VEC) by May 10, 2019. The VEC is part of the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks’ (MDPFP) North Mississippi Fish Hatchery located at Exit 233 east off I-55 at Enid.

AmeriCorps at Clarkco

AmeriCorps Team, Bayou 6 has been lending a hand at Clarkco State Park. During March they put down crush-n-run gravel on hiking trails, de-limbed and painted centerline on the park roads, prepared soil and laid erosion control fabric in the cabin area, put drainage pipes on walking trails, and laid new crossties in the campground. They even split firewood for campers in their off time.
